- I have been thinking about Twitter. And I thought, why bother? I could develop my own here’s the latest news application. It’s extremely high tech altogether. You can see version 1.0 of SplutterTM on the left of screen.
- It’s raining. No, really. I’m not messing. Met Éireann forecast we would get 5cm over a 36hr period. I didn’t believe them until the water began rising over the door of my storage container. So I have been outside digging gulleys and building baby bulwarks to divert the flood. It’s not working and I’m soaked.
- Speaking of soakings, you may like to read Seanachie’s post on how the French are falling out of love with the bidet. This had me in bits laughing. He even quotes an Italian hygiene historian. I didn’t know such a thing existed.
- Kathy is threatening to interfere with my blogging (and work - but who cares about that) this week. Her second baby is due on Wednesday and I’ve been volunteered to take Seán when the time comes. What’s the best thing to write on a happy-new-baby card ? Well done! I knew you had it in you didn’t go down well the last time.
