Waiting over, or just beginning. It’s over!!
By Primal Sneeze ~ August 17th, 2007. Filed under: Kids, Life, Mothers, Occasions.
UPDATE: Sex: Male. Weight: 3.9kg. Name: Oisín. Rank: Brigadier General. Serial Number: 17082007KE
I’m in Kathy’s. They phoned me to come over at 4:00. And they were on the road to the baby-factory at 4:30. So the waiting is either over or just beginning depending on what way you look at it.
Either way, Kathy is smiling through it. She nearly cried when the specialist mentioned inducing the baby. She won’t have to go through that now. And there’s no worry about traffic. This time of the morning is what the estate agents go by when advertising property – Only 40 minutes from Dublin. Easy access to the M50. All true at 4:00 in the morning.
I’ll update you during the day when I get news. Well, there’ll be one update with sex, weight, name, rank and serial number. This is not a Twitter type thing.
The only part of the plan going awry is the mural project. Seán lost patience and started on his own last weekend. So the materials have been confiscated.
We’ll just have to think of something else.

Here hoping everything Goes well and you dont have too long to wait. You could always use talc powder to draw on the floor like that art attack program use to do that will make the happy couple smile when they get back home.
What ever you do keep the scissors away from that child, even the plastic ones!
I know one child who cut through the telephone wire with the plactic crafty ones.
I like McDara’s idea. Much better than flour, lipstick or paint.
Mabrouk to all
General Oisin, what a blessing.
Comhghairdeas!
Macaroni pictures don’t make much of a mess, so see if that entertains your young charge, Primal.
Mac & Grannymar – In the end, the wee man had a whole set of ideas of his own, including pasta for breakfast and muesli for dinner, but that’s another story. For entertainment (mine mainly) he constructed a zoo with building blocks – high walls for the giraffes; trees for the monkeys; a pond (blue blocks) for the hippo. Not bad for two and a half.
Medbh – I was about to ask what Marconi pictures are. I’m turning into an alpha geek.
Great news, love the name!
Conorín – Yeah, great name. Pity I made it up though. I never use real names on the blog. His real name is similar – Irish and in the same vein as Oisín – so you love it too.
Terrific news!
Now Sean can introduce baby brother to the art world.
You’ll have two little buddies to keep up with when Mom and Dad go on date night!
FMC – Yeah! It is.
Sugar – Seán has taken well to the intruder so far. I think we three will have great craic altogether. Date night me arse – Escape night more like!
