Very catchy. I've been humming it for ages - I shouldn't really, as my musical attempts destroy it. Medbh - I hate golf with a vengeance myself. As a game it just bores me and golfers replaying every shot over and over in the pub drives me scatty. But I think Ireland is one of the few, perhaps the only, countries where folk from every walk of life can play. There are so many clubs and if you can't afford to join one, then you join a society. Most pubs, GAA clubs, villages and companies run them. The elitism is still evident in the high profile clubs like the aforementioned K-Club I admit. I still hate fekin golf. Hate it. Hate it! It's cheap as chips and occupies much smaller space (par 3). It allows the rest of us, i.e. the scum of the earth enjoy a bit of fresh air and afford play lil-golf at the same time. :) I don't like mini-golf though. For the record ELITISM SUCKS! I’d imagine though, that a couple like Ernie and Bernie would run a very gracious sort of establishment with home-made scones and doilies and home-grown veg and pastel pullovers and an anxiousness to discuss recipes.
